So that leads me to believe that they may have been part of a boxed SOMETHING at one time. Anyway, even the DVDs say "boxed set" on them. whatever they are, they're joined at the neck and they fly. I like his dignified personality, Rin, Jokken and ah uhn, the 2 headed. I got a boxed Inuyasha figurine on a season 7 "boxed set".

So I contacted Amazon service and they recommended trying a full return. I imagine I could do this cycle for years and never get the boxed item. The item came and it was just the DVDs again. So I sent 2 seasons back and explained that I got no boxed set, just the DVDs. Now that I've addressed the community problems, here's mine: There's no boxed item in this "boxed set". (Tell your TV manufacturer to put audio line outs on all future TVs from now on. But you do get English or Japanese voices, and subtitled in English. If you want subtitles, go one icon to the right, the old CRT icon and you only get English or off subtitles. You get to choose from either 1) English, or 2) Japanese audio. Select the musical quarter NOTE, "audio options". On the PS 3, just play it, click the triangle button, it pulls up a bunch of controls. No matter what device you use, there is a way to pull up your playback options.
Maybe it would on a real DVD player but let's assume not.
If I set up my preferences in the beginning by following the DVD, that doesn't work at all. I see a lot of people think you can't get one language or the other.
